What does gender imbalance in college have to do with
immigration?

If the next generation of women follow tradition of not
marrying below their station - birth rates might drop and
increased immigration will be key to maintaining standards
of living.      Add to that - educated women are less
likely to get married for economic reasons and likely to
have smaller families for economic reasons.

GOP solution - ban abortion and immigration.     That
punishes poor women but does little to affect the behavior
of educated women that can easily travel to where abortion
is legal.
